Stanisław Kracik graduated from University of Science and Technology (AGH) and obtained a Master of Public Administration degree from the Malopolska School of Public Administration (established in cooperation with Copenhagen Business School) at the Cracow University of Economics.
At the beginning of his career he worked as constructor, construction division manager and chief constructor for Krakowska Fabryka Aparatów Pomiarowych.
The mayor of Niepołomice town from 1990 to 2009. From 1993 to 2001, he served as a Deputy in the Polish Parliament and worked in the Public Finance and Social Policy Commissions. Mr. Kracik was appointed the Voivode of the Malopolska region at 29th October 2009. He has over 20 years experience in local and government administration.
